The Utah Peace Officers Association will be giving the Presidential Award of Distinction to the Utah Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. The annual award is given to an officer, agency or task force that has given extraordinary and exemplary law enforcement service to the public. Last year the task force led the nation with the number of arrests per capita of Internet predators attempting to meet children for sexual purposes. |
