Parents and Educators
The key to reducing Internet crime is prevention. The task force is a resource for teachers, parents, and other groups who want to learn more about Internet safety. We can provide Internet safety presentations for adults and children. Since January of 2000, the task force has educated more than 100,000 Utahns about keeping safe online.
Please contact Sariah Donnahoo or call 801-503-4238 for more information about materials and presentations.

Parents can also sign their children up for the Utah Child Protection Registry to stop them from receiving adult-oriented messages by e-mail. The registry is free and similar to the "Do Not Call List." You can register your children's e-mail addresses and other electronic contact points such as: mobile phone numbers (SMS), instant messenger IDs, and fax numbers. The registry can be found here at www.utahkidsregistry.com
