TRUCKER TO RECEIVE AWARD FOR FINDING GIRL AFTER AMBER ALERT
Who: Attorney General Mark Shurtleff, Child Advocate Elaine Runyan-Simmons, Utah Broadcasters Association President Dale Zabriskie, representatives from the Ogden Police Department, Utah AMBER Alert Advisory Committee, Utah Trucking Association and Award Recipient Kerry Hammond.
What: Trucker Kerry Hammond will be presented with the Rachael Runyan Award, a special honor given to Utahns who respond to an AMBER Alert to help in the safe recovery of a child. Hammond notified authorities after spotting the vehicle mentioned in an AMBER Alert issued by the Ogden Police Department on January 16.
