The Utah Attorney General is making a new patch available to scouts who commit and are actively living a drug-free life. Please contact Jennifer Welsh for more information on how you can receive this patch.
"The Scouts who take a short time to earn this drug-free patch could avoid a lifetime of misery," says Mark Shurtleff, Utah Attorney General. "I wholeheartedly support the Scouting program's effort to help our young people make wise choices, develop healthy values and contribute to the community."
Requirements for the patch include:
Participate in a school, community, or troop program on the dangers of using drugs, alcohol, and tobacco, and other practices that could be harmful to your health. Discuss your participation in the program with your family.
